Ruth’s Chris has always set the bar for a steakhouse experience in my opinion. The service is world class. The atmosphere is elegant and inviting; aaand the food is divine.
We, at Alabama Eats decided, to celebrate our 2 year anniversary at Ruth’s Chris in Birmingham, Alabama. It has been a while since either of us has eaten at this steakhouse chain. It was like coming home to heaven. We ordered a filet and a rib-eye with all the signature trimmings.
For those of you unfamiliar with the Ruth’s Chris sides, that includes a three cheese mashed potatoes and creamed spinach. Spectacular!
Our waiter recommended a red blend, Paraduxx, that was an excellent pairing with our meal. This recommendation was based on our love of red zinfandel, particularly Turley.
Ruth’s Chris provides a unique Happy Hour menu as well. We sampled the sliders, shrimp with sriracha-aioli, crab cake with a house remoulade sauce, and petite prime beef burger in horseradish cream. Delicious! We were also eager to take advantage of some of their hand-crafted cocktails.
We at Alabama Eats recommend you visit a Ruth’s Chris near you and see how your favorite steakhouse stacks up.
